Five Things to Know for Nov. 7 in Montgomery County

Happy Wednesday! Here are five things to know today, Wednesday, Nov. 7, in Montgomery County:

1. County Executive Race: Montgomery County Executive-elect Marc Elrich thanked his supporters Tuesday night in Silver Spring after learning he had won 64 percent of the vote.

2. Post-Election ShowMontgomery Community Media is hosting a post-election show today at 12:45 p.m. Watch live on Facebook or MCMLive.org.

3. Trails Reopen: Montgomery County Parks’ trails will reopen to the public today at noon after rainfall earlier this week caused temporary closures.

4. Clarksburg Bikepath Project Public Hearing:  There will be a public hearing today on the Clarksburg Road at MD 355 Intersection Improvement & MD 355 Clarksburg Bikepath Project.  The hearing will be held at Little Bennett Elementary School, located at 23930 Burdette Forest Road in Clarksburg.
