It’s Election Day! Here are five things to know today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, in Montgomery County:

1. Election Guide: Everything you need to know about the local and state races can be found in Montgomery Community Media’s comprehensive election guide.

2. Election Night Live Coverage: Montgomery Community Media will broadcast live election results of local races starting at 9 p.m. on cable channel 21 (995 HD), here on the MyMCMedia.org website and on fb.com/mymcmedia.

3. Schools Are Closed:

4. Trails are Closed:Montgomery Parks has closed all natural-surface trails and the bike pump track at South Germantown Recreational Park to the public due to excessive rainfall. Trails will reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at noon.
