It’s Tuesday, Nov. 5 and here are five things to know in Montgomery County.
1. Municipal Elections: It’s Election Day in the cities of Gaithersburg and Rockville.
2. Council in Session: Montgomery County Council meets this morning at 10 a.m. in the Council Hearing Room in Rockville. The agenda includes time for the Council to meet with Marcus Jones, County Executive Elrich’s nominee for Police Chief. The Council will vote on the nomination in the afternoon.
3. Vaping Public Hearing: The County Council has introduced legislation to protect youth from vaping products. A public hearing on the bills takes place tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room in Rockville.
