Five Things to Know for Nov. 21 in Montgomery County

It’s Wednesday, Nov. 21, and here are five things Montgomery County residents need to know:

1. School’s Out: Today is an early release day for all Montgomery County Public Schools students.

2. Take a Hike: The Potomac Appalachian Trail Club is hosting a five-mile hike at Seneca Creek State Park from 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The park is at 11950 Clopper Road, Gaithersburg. See the club’s website for more information.

3. Exploring STEM: Montgomery County libraries have resources for learning more about science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

 

4. Thanksgiving Eve Dinner/Party: The Olney Winery, 18127 Town Center Drive, is offering a glass of wine so you can take a break from holiday preparations and relax. Live music by Sandra Dean. For details, visit the winery’s website.
