Five Things to Know for Nov. 19 in Montgomery County

It’s Monday, Nov. 19, and here are five things Montgomery County residents need to know:

1. New Bus Routes: The Montgomery County Department of Transportation is proposing changes to Route 52, adding an extension to Our Lady of Good Counsel High School on selected trips.  A public forum is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Ross Boddy Community Recreation Center, Activity Room A, 18529 Brooke Road, Sandy Spring.

2. Gaithersburg Meets: The Mayor and Council meet at 7:30 pm in Gaithersburg City Hall, 31 S Summit Ave. Among the items on the agenda are a renewal of Comcast’s franchise agreement with the city. Here’s the complete agenda.

3. Rockville Meets: The Mayor and Council meet at 7 p.m. in Rockville City Hall. Among the items on the agenda are a fiscal 2020 budget hearing as well as hearings on changing the city charter’s provisions on filling vacancies on the council. Here’s the complete agenda.
