1. Council in Session: Montgomery County Council meets today at 9:30 a.m. Here’s a look at today’s agenda.
2. Peace Officers Memorial Day: Flags have been lowered to half staff today, in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day.
3. Senior Housing and Resource Fair: Residents will find information about aging in place at the Holiday Park Senior Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
4. Takoma Park City Council Meeting: Takoma Park’s City Council meets tonight from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Takoma Park Community Center. For more information, check out the city’s website.
5. Ride of Silence: This international event honors individuals who were killed or injured on a bicycle. The hour-long, police-escorted ride will cover 10 miles and lead bikers through Rockville neighborhoods. Riders must be comfortable with riding on the street with traffic at a pace of about 10 miles per hour.
And one more thing: Montgomery County Public Schools met with members of the media Tuesday evening regarding Damascus High School.
