1. Education Budget Meeting: There’s an Education Budget Meeting at Rockville High School tonight at 6:30 p.m. Community members are invited to learn about the FY 2020 Budget. Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice attend this meeting with MCPS Superintendent Jack R. Smith and Montgomery College President DeRionne Pollard.
2. Hear the Crunch: Today at 9:15 a.m. thousands of Marylanders are participating in the “Hear the Maryland Crunch.” Students, teachers, and legislators will all participate in a synchronized apple crunch event to highlight the importance of the School Breakfast Program. Those participating in the event will use the hashtag #HearTheCrunch.

3. Montgomery County Employment Information: Montgomery County Office of Human Resources is hosting an employment information session today from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at H.I.R.E East County Regional Service Center in Silver Spring.
4. Gaithersburg Recreation Registration: Registration for the City of Gaithersburg Recreation programs begins today. Here’s more information.
5. Author Event: P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast, authors of the New York Times best-selling book “The Dysasters” are speaking at the Connie Morella Library in Bethesda from 7 to 8 p.m. Politics and Prose is providing copies of the books for purchase at this event, and part of the proceeds from the purchases will benefit Friends of the Library’s Connie Morella Chapter.
