1. Stay at Home: Gov. Larry Hogan, along with Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D), have enacted “Stay at Home” orders in the DMV area. So, stay at home and maybe turn “Tiger King” on Netflix on to find out what all the hype is about.
2. Council in Session: Montgomery County Council has its meeting today at 9:30 a.m. Here’s a look at the agenda. The council will be introducing and voting on $6 million special appropriation for community assistance and to support the Department of Health and Human Services. Additionally, the council is voting on a $10 million special appropriation to support Montgomery County hospitals.

3. Safety Day, Bike to Work Day Canceled: Montgomery County has canceled its Safety Day and Bike to Work Day scheduled in May.

4. Telephone Town Hall: U.S. Rep Jamie Raskin (D-Md., Dist. 8) is hosting a telephone town hall from 4 to 5 p.m. Raskin will be joined by U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.); Antonio Doss, District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration; and representatives from the Maryland Department of Labor. The town hall will focus on economic relief for American affected by the coronavirus. People can join by calling 877-300-1219. Anyone who cannot attend, can stream the audio online.
