1. Beltway Reopens at American Legion Bridge: The inner loop of the Capital Beltway on the American Legion Bridge reopened early this morning, according to WTOP News.
2. Silver Spring Metro Service Improvements: The Metro Board voted Thursday to approve their 2020 budget. As of July 1, all northbound Red Line trains will travel to the Glenmont station and not turn around in Silver Spring, according to Bethesda Beat.
3. Yard Trim Composting: Pick up a free yard trim compost bin at Meadowside Nature Center in Rockville from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Find more information on yard trim from the Department of Environmental Protection website.
4. Germantown Community Day: Montgomery College celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Germantown Campus with the community Saturday, March 30 from noon to 4 p.m. Learn Germantown history, engage in hands-on, interactive displays and demonstrations, participate in fun and friendly gmaes with a chance to win prizes, and enjoy locally-based food and entertainment.
