1. Play Ball: Today is the first day of major league baseball and all 30 teams will play. The Nats host the New York Mets at National Park. The Orioles play the Yankees in New York. Both games start at 1:05 p.m.
2. Council Committee Work: The Transportation and Environment committee meets at 2 p.m. and will receive an update from the Department of Environmental Protection. Topics include stormwater management, remediation of the Gude landfill, solid waste master plan aiming, among other items.
3. Planning Board Meets: The Planning Board meets at 10 a.m. with a full day of agenda items. Watch the meeting live, here.
4. Author Talk on Aging: Author Wendy Miller will discuss her book, Sky Above Clouds: Finding our way through creativity, aging, and illness at Kensington Park Library from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
