Five Things to Know for March 25 in Montgomery County

Today is Wednesday, March 25 and here are five things you need to know in Montgomery County:

1. County Transportation Resources for Adults, People with Disabilities:  Montgomery County Department of Transportation and Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services started a website with transportation services for older adults and persons with disabilities during the public health emergency.

2. Visit Montgomery Launches MoCo Eats: Visit Montgomery has launched a new MoCo Eats To-Go Guide which provides people with a directory of restaurants throughout the county that offer takeout, pickup, and other food delivery options.

3. Montgomery County Virtual Tip Jar: MoCo Local Blog has started a “Montgomery County Virtual Tip Jar.” Service workers impacted by the coronavirus closures can include their Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App information on a Google Document, and others in the community can donate to these individuals.

4. Take a Class with Your Library Card: As we practice social distancing, why not take a class on something interests us?  With your Montgomery County Public Library card, you can choose to take a Gale course. There’s over 350 options.

5. Know a Marylander Stranded Abroad?: Do you know any Marylanders stuck abroad during this public health emergency. U.S. Rep. David Trone (D-Md. District 6) wants to help:
