2. Elrich Facebook Live on COVID-19: Join Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and County Health Officer Dr. Travis Gayles for a Facebook Live event from 1:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. via the County’s Facebook page. The Facebook event will begin with an update from the County Health Officer on COVID-19. This Facebook live event will replace the monthly online chat for March.

3. Lighten Up! : The goal of this outreach event is to bring residents helpful tips that will help brighten their homes and lower their utility bills! It will also give them a place to swap bulbs. This will take place at Plum Gar Recreation Center [19561 Scenery Drive] in Germantown from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

5. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance: This program is for taxpayers who earn $56,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and limited English speaking taxpayers who need help in preparing their own returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. This is walk-in, first come, first served and will take place at Aspen Hill Library from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Here’s a list of what documents you should bring with you.
