Here are five things to know in Montgomery County for Tuesday, June 9.

1. Council in Virtual Session:  Montgomery County Council meets virtually at 10 a.m. Here’s a look at the meeting’s agenda. During the meeting the council will introduce a resolution to declare racism a public health crisis.

2. MCPS Graduations: Several MCPS students are graduating virtually today. Congratulations to all the Class of 2020 at Churchill, Poolsville, Einstein, Quince Orchard, and Rockville High Schools.

3. Virtual Chat with Montgomery County Planning Department:  Come to a virtual chat from noon to 1 p.m. for Thrive Montgomery 2050. This virtual chat will focus on Parks. RSVP online.
