Expect showers on Monday. Here are five more things to know today, June 5, in Montgomery County:

1. Raskin talks: A Conversation with Jamie Raskin starts today at 8 a.m. at the Universities of Shady Grove Conference Center, Building II, 9630 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville. For information, call Barbara Henry at Committee for Montgomery, at 301.960.5263.

2. Water rates: The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission has started a public outreach campaign to inform ratepayers of its plans for a new rate structure. You can hear about it starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Council Office Building in Rockville.

3. Commencements: Clarksburg and Walt Whitman high schools hold their graduation ceremonies. Clarksburg is at 10 a.m. at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg. Whitman is at 2:30 p.m. at DAR Constitution Hall.

4. Body cameras: The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council get an update on body-worn cameras for the city’s police officers. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.

5. Bridge dedication: Family and friends came together Thursday to dedicate a bridge in the name of Dr. Michael J. Dolan, the Wootton High School principal who died suddenly.

It’s going to be EPIC: Montgomery Community Media hands out its EPIC Awards on Thursday at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, which are given to honor “excellence in programming and innovative content.”
