1. Council Committee Meetings: Two committees meet virtually today and may be viewed live on YouTube or Facebook. The Planning, Housing, and Economic Development Committee meets at 9 a.m. The Education and Culture Committee meets at 1:30 p.m.
2. Food Distribution: Free prepared meals will be distributed today at North Gate Local Park in Aspen Hill at 1 p.m.
3. Municipal Monday: Gaithersburg’s Mayor and Council meet at 7:30 p.m. for a work session. Here’s the agenda and virtual meeting information may be found here. The Rockville Mayor and Council meet at 6 p.m. The agenda may be found here. The meeting may be viewed on county cable channel 11 or watch the live-stream at www.rockvillemd.go/rockville11.
4. Child Care Town Hall: County Executive Marc Elrich hosts a virtual town hall for child care providers today from 6 to 7 p.m. Child care providers should register to receive login information.
5. Summer Employment Program: The county launched COVID Corps for youth ages 16 to 23 years of age. Members of the COVID Corps, coached by Montgomery County Recreation staff, will be deployed to work throughout the County supporting its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
