1. Community Policing: The Montgomery County Council’s Public Safety Committee is scheduled to receive a briefing on community policing policies. The meeting starts at 10 a.m. in the Third Floor Hearing Room. To view the council staff report, click here.
2. Municipal Monday: Rockville’s Mayor and Council meets, starting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave. Here’s the Rockville agenda. Gaithersburg’s Mayor and Council meets starting at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 31 S. Summit Ave. Find the agenda here. The Poolesville Town Commission meets at 7:30 at Town Hall, 19721 Beall St.
3. Clean Slate: Councilmember Tom Hucker has organized a clinic to help people expunge the records of Marylanders who have been charged with less-serious offenses. The clinic takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building, 1 Veterans Place.
4. Test Prep: School’s over but students who are looking ahead to SAT and ACT tests can find materials at their local libraries.
