1. Stanley Cup Celebration: The Washington Capitals will celebrate winning the 2018 Stanley Cup Championship with a parade in downtown Washington, D.C.
2. Silver Spring Intermediate Neighborhood Park: Montgomery Parks will hold a community meeting to present updated concept plans to improve Silver Spring Intermediate Neighborhood Park. The meeting will take place at the Sligo Avenue Neighborhood Park Activity Building located at 500 Sligo Avenue in Silver Spring. The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
3. Council Session: The Montgomery Council will present a proclamation recognizing the 25th anniversary of the Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education at Montgomery College.
4. MCPS Supplies Drive: It’s the final week of school for students in Montgomery County Public Schools. As the 2017-2018 school year comes to a close on June 15, school leaders are encouraging parents and students to donate gently used supplies the school system’s annual Drive for Supplies.
