1. 11th annual Health IT Summit: Today is AFCEA Bethesda’s 11th Annual Health IT Summit at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. The conference brings together 1,000 senior executives and IT professionals who explore strategies to leverage technology and advance healthcare options. 2. Open Your Heart to a Nation of Peace: The Meditation Museum and LiveaMoment’s Global Pause are bringing together a coalition of civic leaders, community members, and organizations who are committed to bringing “moments of Pause to the Congress.” The event will take place at the Meditation Museum in Silver Spring tonight from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. RSVP is required to attend the event.

3. Beginning Farmer Training: Every Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. until April 3, Montgomery County is hosting a Beginning Farmer Training class at Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood. Tonight’s topic is “Weed Control Options.” Learn more about the event here.

4. Wine Down Wednesday: The KTown Ladies Guild is holding its monthly Wine Down Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at K Town Bistro on Howard Avenue. RSVP to the event on Facebook.

5. Video Production Classes for High School Students: Here at MCM, we love video production, so if anyone knows a high school student interested in learning video production, tell them Gandhi Brigade Youth Media is facilitating a 16-week after school program for high school students interested in learning the fundamentals of video production. The class is at the Rockville Memorial Library Makerspace from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Register for the free class here.
