2. Coffee with Councilmember Gabe Albornoz:  Councilmember Gabe Albornoz begins his tour of the county senior centers today. Join him for coffee and conversation at 11:30 a.m. at the North Potomac Senior Center.

3. Subdivision Staging Policy Meeting:  County planners are working on the 2020 update to the Subdivision Staging Policy and will meet with the community to obtain feedback on the policy. The meeting takes place at the Upcounty Regional Services Center from 7 to 9 p.m. RSVP here to participate

4. Desmond Meade Keynote Speaker:  Montgomery College celebrates Black History Month with guest speaker Desmond Meade, a formerly homeless returning citizen who overcame many obstacles. The program takes place at the Cultural Arts Center at 7 p.m.  RSVP for this free event here.

5. Celebrate FeBREWary: Residents have the opportunity to save money and energy by trading in old incandescent or compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs for free LED light bulbs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elder Pine Brewing and Blending in Gaithersburg.
