1. Council in Session: Montgomery County Council meets at 9:30 a.m. in Rockville and begins the session with the election new officers to serve a one-year term. Take a look at the agenda here.
2. School Board Meets: The Board of Education meets today in Rockville and has a full agenda. New officers will be elected.
3. Racial Equity and Social Justice Act: County Executive Marc Elrich will sign the Racial Equity and Social Justice Act today at 12:30 p.m. in Rockville. The act aims to establish a formal process to address racial equity and social justice issues in Montgomery County.
4. HIV Testing: The county offers free and confidential HIV testing at the Dennis Avenue Health Center in Silver Spring today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A rapid HIV test is available as well as counseling and custom healthcare referrals.
