1. Clarksburg Student Arrested: A Clarksburg High School student was arrested Thursday, February 15 for bringing a loaded 9mm handgun to school.
2. Happy New Year: The Chinese New Year, based on the lunar calendar, officially begins on February 16th and ends on March 2nd. This is the Year of the Dog, symbolizing loyalty, honesty, likability, kindness, caution and prudence.
3. Summer Job Fair: Montgomery County Recreation is hiring hundreds of summer employees. Bring your resume to the East County Community Recreation Center Saturday, Feb. 17 from noon to 3 p.m. to apply for one of the seasonal jobs.
