Fire at Orchard Pond Apartments in Gaithersburg (PHOTOS)

Montgomery County firefighters responded to an electrical fire in the third floor ceiling of a building at Orchard Pond Apartments at 975 Clopper Road in Gaithersburg on Feb. 17.

Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the blaze caused $25,000 in damage and residents were temporarily displaced because of the fire. He said there were no injuries.
