County Working with Local Hospitals to Address Capacity Needs

Montgomery County continues to meet with local hospitals to discuss their capacity needs. County Executive Marc Elrich says staffing continues to be a significant issue.

While there is capacity to add more rooms, additional staffing is needed to support the expansion.

Elrich explains the strategies put in place to address the increase in COVID-19 cases and potential surge.
