Hillandale T-Mobile Store Robbed, Police Searching For Suspect

Montgomery County Police from the Major Crimes Division are asking for help identifying the suspect of an armed robbery.

Police say a man entered a T-Mobile store off New Hampshire Avenue in the Hillandale area last Thursday, Nov. 12. The man initially told an employee he had an issue with his phone.

But soon after, he told the employee he had a gun, demanding money from the cash register. In surveillance video released by police, you can see the suspect go behind the counter, snatching cash from the employees hand before running away.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100. To remain anonymous, you can call the Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-8477, or via the Crime Solvers app.

A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case.
