1. U.S. 29 BRT Meeting: The U.S. 29 North BRT Corridor Advisory Committee meets at 6:30 p.m. at the East County Regional Services Center, 3300 Briggs Chaney Road, Silver Spring. Discussion topics will likely include bicycle and pedestrian accommodations; transit signal priority; and environmental documentation.

2. Passing the Flag: The Invictus Games flag will officially be passed to Canada in a special ceremony 9:30 a.m. at the Walter Reed National Military in Bethesda.

3. Karen Jonas Performs: Virginia native Karen Jonas performs at 7 p.m. at the Gudelsky Gazebo.

4. Wine Camp: Rocklands Farm in Poolesville hosts “Wine Camp” with guest presenter Sergio Pinzon of Winebow. He’ll be bringing a selection of Pinot Noir wines from around the world to taste how place and winemaking techniques can play a role in both the similarities and differences of wines made with the same grape. Tickets $15 and up.
