Bethesda Ruth’s Chris Steak House Permanently Closing in December
After 25 years of operation, Ruth’s Chris Steak House’s Bethesda restaurant will shutter its doors forever on Dec. 24. General Manager Lana Ward confirmed to MyMCM that the restaurant was closing but would not elaborate further. Bethesda Beat was first to report the story.
In an email to Bethesda Beat, Ward said the 7315 Wisconsin Ave location is in need of a major refurbishment and “the volume did not justify the expense of remodel.”
Ruth’s Chris opened its Bethesda location in 1996.
Several Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses still remain in business around the DMV, including the only other one in Montgomery County located in Gaithersburg. For the time being, the Bethesda location still accepts reservations and pre-orders.
