Affordable Care Act Forum Rescheduled

The Bethesda – Chevy Chase Regional Center forum to discuss the impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been rescheduled for September 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. It was originally scheduled for September 5.

Residents interested in learning more about the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) are invited to attend to learn more about the impact of the ACA on residents ages 18 to 64.

The forum will provide attendees the opportunity to learn more about health insurance coverage and potential financial assistance available through Maryland Health Connection. The forum is sponsored by the Bethesda Chevy Chase Regional Center and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services.

A brief presentation will be provided outlining the key components of the ACA, as well as how one can prepare for enrollment beginning October 1, 2013. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

The Bethesda – Chevy Chase Regional Center is located at 4805 Edgemoor Lane in Bethesda. Registration is not required.
