Four Suspects Charged with Multiple Carjackings, Robberies

Four people were arrested and charged with multiple armed carjackings and robberies in Silver Spring and the surrounding area.

Jeremiah Cox, 17, Elijah Day-Quan Greene-Parker, 18, Antonio Daylos Myles, 21, and Rashaun Onley, 21 were charged with multiple incidents that occurred in January and February. All four suspects are from Washington, D.C. and are being charged as adults.

According to Montgomery County Police, the incidents include:

Armed robbery of a customer at a Bank of America ATM at 8788 Georgia Ave., on Jan. 29 at 4:54 p.m. One suspect put a handgun to the victim’s head and demanded money. Charged in this case are Cox, Greene-Parker and Onley.

Armed robbery at Papa John’s, 1133 East West Highway, on Jan. 31 at 2:22 p.m. Three suspects entered, one of whom displayed an assault-style rifle and another carried a handgun. Charged in this care was Greene-Parker.

Armed robbery of a customer at Bank of America ATM at 8701 Georgia Ave. on Feb. 3 at 9:56 p.m. Two suspects approached a victim, and one suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded cash. Charged in this incident were Cox, Greene-Parker and Onley.

Armed robbery of 7-Eleven at 7980 Georgia Ave. on Feb. 5 at 1:15 a.m. Two suspects entered the store, assaulted an employee and stole cash. Onley was charged, and charges are pending against Greene-Parker in this incident.

Armed robbery of a customer at Capital One Bank ATM, 8676 Georgia Ave., on Feb. 5 at 2:39 p.m. One suspected pointed a handgun and stole the victim’s wallet and cash. Cox, Greene-Parker and Onley are charged in this incident.

Armed Carjacking at the 8700 block of Georgia Avenue on Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. Two suspects approached a victim as he came back to a vehicle from the ATM. Suspects displayed handguns and demanded the victim’s vehicle and wallet. Cox, Greene-Parker, and Onley are charged.

Armed Carjacking at the 1400 block of East West Highway on Feb. 5 at 6:04 p.m. Two suspects approached a victim as she sat in her parked vehicle. Suspects displayed handguns and stole her vehicle. Charged in this incident are Cox, Greene-Parker and Onley.

Armed Carjacking at an Exxon gas station at 8301 Fenton St. on Feb. 19 at 6:57 p.m. Two suspects, displaying handguns, approached a victim as he pumped gas. They stole the victim’s vehicle. Greene-Parker and Myles are charged.

Cox was arrested in Washington, D.C. Feb. 5 while in a vehicle that had been carjacked. Police said he used the car to commit carjackings in Montgomery County. He is in custody in Washington, D.C.

Greene-Parker and Onley were both arrested Feb. 27 in Arlington, Va. When arrested, officers located two handguns. Greene-Parker was extradited to Montgomery County, and Onley was extradited to Prince George’s County to face criminal charges there.

Myles was arrested in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 19 and is in custody in Montgomery County.

Detectives are still investigating to see if these four men were involved in additional crimes here and in surrounding jurisdictions.
