1. (ICYMI) Gov. Hogan COVID-19 Briefing: Gov. Hogan held a briefing Thursday evening. Here’s our report:

2. Free COVID-19 Testing: Free COVID-19 testing is available at eight locations throughout Montgomery County today. Click here for more details.

3. Council President Business Briefing:  Council President Sidney Katz’s series of virtual business briefings continue today. Ash Shetty and Grace Denno, both with the county office of procurement, join Katz today from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Email Councilmember.Katz@montgomerycountymd.gov for Zoom link and to submit questions for the meeting.

4. MCPS Board of Education Work Session: The school board has a work session at 2 p.m. on the opening of schools. The meeting will be webcast on the MCPS website and MCPSTV YouTube channel.

5. Gaithersburg Lakeforest Survey:  The City of Gaithersburg’s survey about the future of the Lakeforest Mall property closes today at noon.

And one more thing:  Gallery B hosts an exhibit by Bethesda-based artists Judy Gilbert Levey and Sara Leibman from now through Dec. 19. The gallery,  located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue,  is open Friday-Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Social distancing will be enforced and face masks must be worn by all visitors.
