1. Bethesda Food Distribution: A group of nonprofits, businesses and churches are distributing food every Friday in Bethesda at the Bethesda Chevy-Chase Rescue Squad located at 5020 Battery Lane. The hours are from 1 to 3 p.m.
2. COVID-19 Testing: Free testing is available today and Saturday in eight locations, including Germantown, Rockville, Silver Spring, and Takoma Park. Click here for more details.
3. Rockville Scavenger Hunt: Peerless Rockville is holding a virtual walking tour of Rockville from now through Sunday including more than fifteen stops. Learn more and register here.
4. Election Countdown: There are 18 days until the Presidential Election on Nov. 3. October 20 is the deadline to request a mail-in ballot. Early voting at 11 voting centers takes place from Oct. 26 through Nov. 2. Residents may still register to vote in person during early voting and on election day.
5. Flu Vaccination Clinics: Montgomery County will hold four free clinics this fall. Officials urge all residents to get a flu vaccination.
