Today is Friday, June 26, and here are five things to know in Montgomery County.

1. LGBTQIA Webinar: The county planning department will hold a webinar called “Community Connectedness for LGBTQIA Youths and Seniors: From Coming Out to Growing Old, Still We” from 12-1:30 p.m.

2. Business Briefing: Council President Sidney Katz will hold his weekly business briefing at 12:30 p.m. He will be joined by Connie Pawloski, owner of ComForCare Home Care and Mark Rittenberg, principal at AMR Commercial, LLC.

3. Food Distribution: A grab-n-go meal distribution will take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Grosvenor Square Apartments in Gaithersburg.

4. Martial Arts: Sign up for virtual Vietnamese martial arts classes for anyone ages six and up!

5. Senior Planet Montgomery: Senior Planet Montgomery continues to offer free Zoom classes to senior residents. Today’s classes include “Cloud Storage” and “Tai Chi.”
