Severna Park Girls Advance Past Whitman to State Lacrosse Finals

Severna Park advances to 2019 State Lacrosse Championsip game

Walt Whitman girls lacrosse team found the going tough against Severna Park losing their bid to the state championship game by a score of 16-3.  The Vikings, who were undefeated during regular season league play, could not produce any offensive momentum throughout the game.  Game highlights were few and far between for the Vikings during the state semifinal game played at Gaithersburg High School.  Grace Nemeroff produced two goals for Whitman.

Severna Park advances to play Dulaney High School, Baltimore County who won their game against Eleanor Roosevelt earlier in the evening. The state finals will be played locally in Burtonsville at Paint Branch High School.
