1. Schools Open on Time: Montgomery County Public Schools cancel all field trips and plan to make a decision about early dismissal by 10 a.m. today.
2. County Council Session: Montgomery County Council is meeting today at 9:30 a.m. Check out the agenda.
3. Young Professionals Group Happy Hour: The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Young Professionals Group Happy Hour today from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg on Montgomery Village Avenue. The event will take place at Harvest Plates & Pints and it’s free for young professional members and first-time non-members (for returning members the event costs $15). Registration to the event is required.
4. Transit Gap Analysis: The City of Rockville is holding a Transit Gap Analysis and Needs Assessment Public Workshop today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rockville City Hall. As the city continues to study the need for transit in Rockville, they are looking to receive more feedback from community members about how Rockville’s transit needs could be improved upon. 5. MCM Members Mixer: MCM is holding a Members’ Mixer to kick off 2019. It’s an exciting opportunity to mix and mingle with MCM crew and producers while enjoying free food, drinks, and MCM swag.
