Five Things List-03Don’t leave the house without an umbrella today. A flood watch has been issued for our area. Here are five more things to know today, Feb. 3, in Montgomery County:

1. Gaithersburg residents can register for the city’s popular summer camps beginning at 6 a.m. today.

2. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan will deliver his State of the State address at noon today and you can watch it live, here.

3. Montgomery College’s popular Spring Speaker Series begins today with a lecture by Dr. Luis Branco at 1 p.m. at the college’s Germantown campus.

4. Photojournalist and White House news photographer Dennis Brack is scheduled to discuss his book, Presidential Picture Stories: Behind the Cameras at the White House, at the Bethesda Library tonight. Brack has covered the White House for over 50 years.

5. Six Montgomery County middle school students have won a national App Challenge for their mobile app concept, AutBuddy, to help students with autism communicate with their parents and teachers about progress on school work and tasks. Way to go!
