5 Things to Know Today, March 10, In Montgomery County

It is Wednesday, March 10, and here are five things to know in Montgomery County.

1. County COVID-19 Testing Clinics: Free COVID-19 testing is available throughout the county at nine testing sites today.

2. Food Distribution: A drive-thru food distribution will take place from 1-3 p.m. at South Lake Elementary School in Gaithersburg.

3. Mental Health Conversation: Residents are invited to an online conversation about suicide prevention and mental health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. No registration is required.  Residents can join on Teams Live or watch live on County Cable Montgomery and the county’s Facebook page.

4. Public Safety Awards: The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will host the 47th Annual Public Safety Awards at 4 p.m. The event will be livestreamed on YouTube.

5. Commission on Redistricting Meeting: The Commission on Redistricting will meet virtually from 5-6:30 p.m. The meeting will be livestreamed on the council’s Facebook page.
