Today is Friday, Jan. 22 and here are five things to know in Montgomery County.

1. COVID-19 Vaccine Survey: Montgomery County would like your feedback during a continuous effort to provide residents with the most useful information and resources during the COVID-19 pandemic while developing a plan for vaccine outreach and distribution. The survey is completely anonymous and will close on Feb. 4.

2. MCPS Gives Update: Following Governor Hogan’s updated guidance regarding a return to in-person instruction, Montgomery County Public Schools released a statement. Read it here.

3. COVID-19 Testing: Free COVID-19 testing is available throughout the county at nine testing sites today. The schedule of clinics may be found here.

4. Food Resources: There are two food distribution events happening today in Rockville and Aspen Hill. Click here to see locations and additional resources.

5. Car Free Streets Open Today: Walk, run, and bike on several miles of open roads. Montgomery Parks’ car-free streets opens today at 9:00 a.m. See the tweet below for the road sections that will be open until Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
