World Elder Vulnerable Abuse Awareness Day Set for June 14 (VIDEO)

The International World Elder/Vulnerable Abuse Awareness Day is June 15th.

The 7th annual Montgomery County  event in recognition of World Elder/Vulnerable Abuse Awareness Day will be held on Wednesday June 14th at the Rockville Senior Center from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

This year’s theme is Senior Safety in Age-Friendly Montgomery County. At the event there will be exhibitors and presentations on topics such as: resources for seniors, technology, personal and financial safety.

Montgomery County and city of Rockville officials, Public Safety and Health and Human Services leaders will be on hand providing information and answering questions. There will also be fun activities, door prizes, musical entertainment and box lunches.

Residents are encouraged to attend the 7th Annual World Elder/Vulnerable Abuse Awareness Day event Wednesday, June 14 at the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
