Wisconsin Avenue at Cordell Avenue Closes Several Hours Monday

Update (2:17 p.m.): All Southbound Lanes of Wisconsin Avenue at Cordell Avenue are now open, according to Montgomery County Emergency Management.

Police tweeted Monday at 11:13 a.m. that Wisconsin Avenue at Cordell Avenue will close for two to three hours because of a gas leak.

Anyone driving in that direction should seek an alternate route.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Wisconsin Avenue at Cordell Avenue will be closed for at least 2 – 3 hours for a gas leak.
