Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Montgomery County

winter storm warning  for slider 450x280UPDATED A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Montgomery County effective from now until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

According to the advisory, between three and six inches of snow are possible.

Snow will develop this morning and continue through tonight into Tuesday. The heaviest snow will be tonight.

Temperatures are forecast to be in the upper 20s and winds are expected to blow from the northeast between 10-15 mph, with gusts of up to 25 mph.

Roads may be snow covered and slippery with visibility could be reduced to near one quarter mile at times.

According to the advisory, the combination of snow covered roads and low visibility may cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads, limited visibility and use caution while driving.
