Whitman Girls over Richard Montgomery 54-40

Whitman (16-2) girls varsity continued it’s winning ways with a 54-40 win over Richard Montgomery (11-7).  The Vikings were challenged through three quarters then wore down Richard Montgomery with a rally late in the third that continued into the fourth quarter.  The Whitman bench saw a lot of action in the fourth quarter.

Whitman’s Molly Knox had 16 points, 14 of which were in the first half.  Elyse Lowet scored 14 points, 9 of which were in the second half.  Richard Montgomery’s Anujin Dashdorj had 3 threes and balanced scoring throughout the game for a total of 16 points.

Whitman takes on Paint Branch next week while trying to hold onto their #13 ranking in the DMV.
