UPDATED: White’s Ferry Reopens After Closing Due to Early Morning Incident (VIDEO)
UPDATE 11:20 a.m.: Police have released video of the vehicle rescue that happened at White’s Ferry this morning. The driver who drove onto a ferry and then into the Potomac River was rescued by bystanders and then arrested by Montgomery County Police for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the MCPD Facebook page.
UPDATE 9:19 a.m.: White’s Ferry has reopened earlier closing.
Update: White's Ferry is back open and operational.
