When Your Aging Parent Does Not Want to Move

Barbara Kane, LCSW-C and Linda Hill, LCSW-C of Aging Network Services are pioneers in care management since 1982. They are seasoned psychotherapists and consultants who are experts in assisting adult children with the challenges of aging parents. This talk is designed to address and support adult children with aging parents who are resistant to moving. Barbara and Linda will help you navigate the following:
- When is it time to consider a move?
- How to work with your loved ones to make the move happen.
- Your adjustment to the transition.

Christen Milstead is the director of marketing for Ingleside, a not-for-profit parent organization to Ingleside at Rock Creek, Westminster at Lake Ridge, Ingleside at King Farm, Westminster Ingleside Foundation, and Ingleside at Home. She graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County from Erickson School of Aging with a master's degree in management of aging services and from Towson University with a bachelors in Business Administration, with a concentration in marketing. She is also CASP (Certified Aging Services Professional) Certified.
