What Are You Thankful For This Thanksgiving?
I don’t know about you but Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I grew up in south Florida and we always spent the morning watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on television as my mom prepped the turkey.
Today, my own kids have never been too keen on watching the parade on TV but I still turn it on out of tradition. We always spend the day together watching football, cooking, eating, of course, and playing games and watching movies. It’s all about being together and it brings me home, full circle. I am so grateful for my family, our good health, our love and our other blessings.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? I asked some of the employees at Montgomery Community Media (MCM) and here’s what they shared:
“I am thankful for the many people in my life who have taught me valuable life lessons!”
–Lisa Clark, Programming Department
“There are too many things to list that I am thankful for. But if I had to choose, I am thankful for my wonderful and supportive family.”
–Mandi Wyndham, Training Department
“I am thankful for the laughter and love in my life; for my wife, children and family.”
–-Michael Walsh, Technical Operations Department
“I am thankful for my sons and the fun projects that I get to be part of at MCM.”
–-Vincent Sarageno, Production Department
“I am thankful for my wife. She’s always positive and inspires me to challenge myself.”
–Tony Zucconi, Production Department
“I’m thankful for my wife who is my better half and makes me a better person every single day. I’m thankful for my son who brings nothing but pure happiness whether if it’s the middle of the night, or early in the morning when he is the first thing I see. I’m thankful for my dog for unconditional love and attention. I’m thankful for my parents who gave me all the opportunities which have led me to where I am today which includes the best job I’ve had as of yet here at MCM. I’m also thankful for my biggest fortune since I was born – being healthy and strong.”
–-Omri Haberman, Training Department
Now it’s your turn. What are you thankful for?
