Montgomery County has once again partnered with WSSC to present the 4th Annual H2O Summit Saturday, March 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building. The focus of the day long event is everyone plays an important role in protecting the region’s water and watersheds. The morning roundtable discussions occur from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations are required as seating is limited; register here. The afternoon “festival” includes live music and mini-workshops.
The “Japan Fair” at Bauer Community Recreation Center in Rockville will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Students from Yokohama Hayato High School will demonstrate and teach Japanese arts, games and customs. You can join in and try creating origami and calligraphy and the popular Anime.
