• Rockville’s annual Back-to-School Jam takes place at the Lincoln Park Community Center from 6 to 9 p.m.
• Friday Night Live free outdoor concert features The Crawdaddies at 6:30 p.m. at Rockville Town Square
• Lakefront Live outdoor concert features classic rock by the Joint Chiefs at 6:30 p.m.in Gaithersburg.
• Enjoy the musical The Wiz at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn at 8 p.m.

Saturday, August 22

• Today is the final day of the County Fair at the fairgrounds in Gaithersburg. Open from 10 a.m. to midnight.
• Explore the arts at BlackRock’s annual open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Take a guided tour along the underground railroad at the Woodlawn Manor Cultural park in Sandy Spring.
• Gold’s Gym leads a Zumba session outdoors at Rockville Town Square at 10:30 a.m.
• Adventure Theatre presents Garfield, The Musical with Cattitude at 11 a.m., 2 and 4:30 p.m. in Glen Echo Park.
• Enjoy a drive-in movie and support NIH at the three day Comcast Outdoor Film Festival in Rockville. Tonight’s movie is “Interstellar” – gates open at 5 p.m.
• Country music artist, Jo Dee Messina performs at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 8 p.m.

Sunday, August 23

• Adventure Theatre presents the final performances of Garfield, The Musical with Cattitude at 11 a.m., 2 and 4:30 p.m.in Glen Echo Park.
• Pike and Rose’s block party takes place from 1 to 4 p.m.
• Final performance of the musical The Wiz at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn today at 2 p.m.
• Enjoy a drive-in movie and support NIH at the three day Comcast Outdoor Film Festival in Rockville. Tonight’s movie is “Guardians of the Galaxy” – gates open at 5 p.m.
• ArLight Cinemas screening of “Change Up” starts at 7:15 p.m. in Bethesda.
