Arsenic and Old Lace:  Rockville Little Theatre’s production of the classic mystery-farce about two delightfully poisonous old ladies, their daffy nephew, and an eccentric cast of madcap characters runs through October 5 at the F. Harvest Festival: Experience Montgomery County’s farming and cultural history during the 28th Annual Harvest Festival at the Agricultural History Farm Park. Enjoy a beautiful, fun-filled day on the farm with historic crafts, activities, music, and food. Saturday, October 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Agricultural History Farm Park, 18400 Muncaster Road, Derwood. Germantown Oktoberfest Parade & BlackRock Open Haus: Bring your family and enjoy the parade down Century Boulevard with marching bands, dance groups, teams, scouts, elected officials, color guard, and more with prime viewing on BlackRock’s lawn. BlackRock’s Open House includes live bands on the outdoor stage, a beer garden with local craft breweries, Uncle Freddy’s BBQ and other food vendors on the lawn. Inside BlackRock, sample arts classes and the art galleries. AMP Cabaret: Storm Large: Portland-based singer-songwriter Storm Large performs an engaging live cabaret with her band Le Bonheur. Thursday, October 3 at 8 p.m. and Friday, October 4 at 8 p.m. AMP by Strathmore, 11810 Grand Park Ave., 4th Floor, North Bethesda. Cabaret: Based on the play by John Van Druten and music by John Kander, this musical is set in 1929 Berlin. The main character Cliff arrives in Berlin to work on his novel but is swept up in the life of the cabaret. Director Alan Paul makes his Olney Theatre Center debut. Runs now through Oct. 13 at Olney Theatre Center, 2001 Olney-Sandy Spring Road. For more information, click here. $37-$79.
