Trouble Funk at Strathmore (Video)
Summer Concerts at Strathmore continue on July 24 with D.C.’s Trouble Funk band at the Gudelsky Concert Pavilion Gazebo, 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda. The concert begins at 7 p.m. The venue is located across the street from the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station. Parking is $5 in the Metro garage. Accessible parking is available on-site on a space available basis. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or low beach chairs.
Turn your summer groove out with D.C.’s iconic go-go band. Up-tempo 70’s funk meets a 60’s style horn section and explodes in an urban energy that keeps everyone on their feet. For decades Trouble Funk has been the go-to for gogo; come catch their Strathmore summer jam and you’ll know why.
Food is available at the BBQ Shack if you want to enjoy a picnic dinner. BBQ ribs, pulled pork, veggie burgers, hot dogs, side dishes, desserts, soda, water and beer and wine are available for purchase starting at 5:30 p.m.
Be on the lookout before the performance for roving performers Michael Rosman and Family.
