The Latest County COVID-19 Numbers: 55 New Cases, 2 Deaths Reported
The Maryland Department of Health on Thursday reported 55 new COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County. That brings the cumulative case count since the start of the pandemic to 20,893.

Montgomery County has led the state in coronavirus-related fatalities, adding two more on Thursday for a pandemic total of 792. Prince George’s County, however, has logged over 6,000 more cases in total since March.
The state recorded 503 new infections Thursday, bringing its total to 114,078. Seven new deaths were reported, making the pandemic death toll 3,679. Maryland’s seven-day rolling average for test positivity was 3.71%.
