‘Taste of Wheaton’ Brings Crowds to Try Local Restaurants (PHOTOS)

The 19th annual “Taste of Wheaton” brought thousands to downtown Wheaton Sunday (June 8) to try new food in an event that organizers hoped would boost customers to local restaurants.

“The ‘taste’ highlights some of the great local restaurants in downtown Wheaton,” said Sidney Cooper, manager of marketing  and events for the Wheaton Urban District. “Like all of our events, our effort is to expose people to Wheaton who are not familiar with, or haven’t been to the area in a while,” she said.
