Takoma Park City Offices Will Open at Noon on Mar. 14

Due to the overnight winter weather, Takoma Park City offices and facilities will open at noon on Mar. 14.

Residents can expect limited services on Tuesday.

“There’s just a couple of things  that won’t be open after noon,” said Suzanne Ludlow, Takoma Park city manager. “We’re not opening passport services today and the before and after school programs will not be held because there is no school.”

Ludlow said in a phone interview that the city’s main goal is to get the roads clear.

Trash, recycling and food waste collections be delayed until Wednesday.

Due to overnight weather, City of Takoma Park offices will open at noon today. The Police Department is always open for emergency services.
